•Trying on the Madewell drape twill trench in xxs. I’m 5 feet tall and this is definitely a longer length, looser fit trench.

Material is very light and flowy, and is an unlined style. This material is more wrinkle prone but the darker color appears to mask wrinkles well.

• Abercrombie YPB active skort size XS, I also size up so its not too tight

• New Balance 530 sneakers. I am a women’s 5 usually and found the women’s 5.5 to be a tad big for me so I got kids sizing

- belt xxs. Great basic I have in black and chocolate suede, both on sale

- Trying on their new slouchy straight pants which have a looser, more relaxed fit. Like most Madewell pants these run big at the waist so I have them belted.   Size 00 petite measures 13.75” across waist, 10.5” rise, 27” inseam.

After checking these measurements I’m surprised it’s that long since I would usually need a low heel with 27” long pants, so I feel it’s something about the cut and how the pant leg opening pools well around the flats here!

• Suede belt xxs. On sale even though fine print says suede belts are excluded! Great basic I have in black and chocolate raisin. 
• 90s crop jeans 24, hems cut (or get petite). On extra sale for under $60! These are a great slim cut option that works well with booties, flats and heels. Regular sizing is well stocked and it’s easy to cut. Love the darker gray wash.  
• Trying on trench coat xxs. This is longer and oversized on a petite frame, would be ideal on someone a little taller. Very lightweight flow material. Wrinkle prone so the darker olive color is better for masking wrinkles (see on me in a separate LTK!)

• top xxs, nice knit elevated basic

• Kitten heel boots 5.5, took a little breaking in for me

• Bucket bag in chocolate raisin. Excellent tote that fits a laptop. I cut the strap a little shorter and you can’t tell it’s been altered.

•High-rise slim wide jeans in “Mila Dawn Wash” size 24 petite . One of jcrews best cut of petite jeans! Love these with flats , boots or heels

On me:
•jcrew Slim wide jeans in resin rinse sz 24 petite.

These have the cute sailor pockets, but the ones without sailor pockets (linked) would honestly be more versatile for me! The sailor pockets are great with a simple top or sweater, but I’ve noticed that many of my jackets and sweaters have front pockets and I prefer to pair those with bottoms with more subtle pockets.

Resin rinse is a beautiful classic dark wash and this cut is one of jcrews best options for petites - straight cut without being too wide.

I also tried the corduroy version linked and it was soft and comfortable and wearable with flats

•My red sweater is an older J.Crew style, I linked a similar current option
•Zoe ballet flats sz 5.5. I’ve had these for a few years now

Another similar cut I love that fits smaller is jcrew shrunken cashmere crewneck sweater . I need to size up to Xs in the jcrew one!

• Ann Taylor belted taper ankle pants 00P - my color is from a prior year. Sizing runs looser so I have the belt tightened. Very classic ankle pant.

Just got my order in and they’re very short gal and slim calf friendly.

I ordered size 5.5 and it is a great slim fit hitting well under my knees. The shaft top measures a pretty narrow 12.5” around, and the shaft height measures 13.75 tall. The faux suede has a little stretch.

Just FYI , typical of Steve Madden boots, the calf height and width will get a little bit larger with each shoe size .

This is a more tailored style with a longer boyfriend fit and shoulder padding. Sharp looking with jeans or workwear. Comes in both navy and black. There's substantial weight to it, and it's fully lined.

I just tried this on and the fabric and quality are excellent - just note the shoulder pads and that petite sleeves on J. Crew blazers and coats tend to run shorter than some other brands. I would take 00P and the sleeve length hit me just right for someone 5ft tall, but may be short on someone with longer arms.

• Oversized trench coat in beige xxs- very loose fit (runs big), hits past midi length on me (5ft) . Despite being big, I wear this all the time. The material has a nice weight and drapes well and style is perfectly effortless.

I usually wear it open with the belt tightly tied in the back. Sleeves also a little long but you can also use the wrist cinches which helps!

I’ve machine washed this trench coat on a gentle cycle and hung dry with no issues

• Quince crepe shorts 0 - fits big on me (I’m usually 00) so I wear belted. these have become my uniform this summer for their comfort, polished look, and versatility. Machine washable, and I hang dry.

• Gap oversized sweater - petites is running low! 100% cotton striped knit with a loose, swingy, oversized fit. I have last years version and haven’t tried this one. I fold up the sleeve cuffs once on the Xs petite.

• Good American jeans 0 - if you like higher stretch jeans, these are sooo flattering and comfortable with some shaping power. My usual size 00 did fit (great for a 24" waist) but for my 25" waist I was a little more comfortable in a size up to 0

• Nordstrom $15 sunnies - one of my all time favorite sunglasses - I have both black and brown with backups for my car.

• Madewell perfect vintage jeans 24 petite - my most worn Madewell jeans, great to style with flats, wedges, or a low heel. 24P measures 12.7" across waist, 9.5" rise, 24" inseam.

• Dolce Vita flats 5.5 - the shape and style feels modern and chic heading into fall. If you're between half sizes, I would size up.

• Quince linen dress xs - Understated, elegant 100% linen dress that's a longer midi/maxi length on me (5 ft). Fully lined, adjustable straps, pockets.

• Kenneth Cole Gentle Souls - one of my most walking friendly booties. Fit wise, i'd size up if between sizes. I'm usually a 5 or 5.5, and went up to 5.5 since the front toe felt a little narrow.
