You won’t believe I’ve had this dress for almost 3 years and it’s just seeing the light of day 😩 I originally bought it for a New Year’s party, but my husband and I got Covid and weren’t able to go. The following year I found another dress I wanted to wear on NYE and left this one sitting in the closet. Well now we’re going to a masquerade party and I think it’s perfect for the occasion! Tried it on a week prior to the event and it was too big. I’m usually a Large in this brand but, given the pounds I dropped this year, I could’ve used a Medium instead. Took it to the tailor who said it was a whole size too big and altered it from the back. They took an inch and a half from each side by removing, then sewing back the zipper. I told them not to cut from the side of the dress, because I worried it would make the cup size smaller. For the cup size (I’m a 36D), I still needed a Large. Well this is me at the tailor trying it on and I cannot wait to wear it tonight!!! I’ll post more pictures tomorrow.
