Last year we had tornados hit our little town, and it wasn’t until then that I realized just how unprepared we were for that situation. 😅 You just never think it could happen to you, you know? 😮‍💨 It totally could have been worse, and we were luckier than many. But this year I decided to put together an emergency kit to keep in our basement (where we seek shelter)…justttt in case! Here’s the bulk of what I’m putting in it. I’m also adding canned food, water, and some essentials for the kids (diapers, wipes, snacks, etc.). I know this isn’t a fun thing to spend money on, BUT it’s like insurance.
