You don’t have to put every ornament you own in the tree every year. This year we went with a neutral palette of gold, silver, and white ornaments. Decorating Tips Part 15
Living Room Curtains
When installing your curtains, make sure to extend your rod 8–10 inches past the window frame. This keeps the curtain stack from blocking the window and lets in as much natural light as possible. Since this room is on the smaller side, I wanted to minimize visual clutter. I chose lucite rods because they’re transparent and make the room feel more expansive.

Another pro tip is to mount your rod high, close to the ceiling. This draws the eye upward, making your walls appear taller and giving the room an elevated look.
I did have to hem these panels by about 3 inches, but it was so worth it. That little tweak gave them the custom, high-end look I was going for.
