reminder, a special day doesn’t need extravagance, just heart ✨ my girls wanted a painting party for their joint birthday + we did just that! (i wish i made it a paint + pajama party though!) we’re celebrating aaryas 9th + alaïa’s 7th birthdays ♥️♥️ alhamduillah for them, may Allah swt protect all of our children + keep them on a straight path. december is full of celebrations in our household + over the years ive done my best to keep in mind not to be extravagant or spend too much unnecessarily. i can’t stand being wasteful in any way… i gathered everything i owned to use, the pillows from my chairs, the table from my sunroom, tablecloth + paint set up i purchased, for 12 kids $75 🙌🏽 initially i had planned to do this at a paint shop, they quoted me $400 for 1 hr for 10 kids. just to paint. nothing else 🧐 i love a challenge! we ordered their favorite pizza, drinks, donuts, cupcakes, + more, with the streamer backdrop ($6 + mamas patience) accomplished both their dreams for less than $200 ☺️ i love creating memories like these for them. this is the time where they’ll let me plan + execute their special moments for them. i loved how everything turned out, what do you think? be honest would you have rather done it at the paint shop? keep in mind it was like 25 degrees outside 🥶 tablecloth: @homegoods streamers: partycity white cake: @wholefoods floral cupcakes: @deeeliciouscakes serving ware (silver/gold) @articles.us donuts: @duckdonuts diybirthday birthdaydecor memories girlsbirthday eoyinspo24 LTKParties LTKHome LTKSeasonal
