How I flew solo with a baby! Yes, it was hard, but I did it.
1️⃣ Baby wear through the airport. Everyone said this is the best thing to do and I understand the hype now! I’m so excited to partner with @Nordstrom & @Nuna_USA to share the CUDL Luxe Clik Carrier! As a petite gal with chronic pain, this carrier was so comfortable and easy to use! I appreciate how I can listen for the magnetic click when strapping baby in by myself. I wore baby through TSA and didn’t have to take her out. This also made it easy for me to repack my breastmilk after it was tested by TSA!
2️⃣ Pack everything in a checked bag! It’s a little bit of a gamble, but I put everything I could in a checked bag so I could be hands-free when navigating the airport with baby!
3️⃣ Check stroller + car seat before TSA. Same with checking my luggage, I wanted to be hands-free.
4️⃣Change diaper before boarding!
5️⃣ Nurse or bottle feed during takeoff and landings to help with the air pressure change. I wait until the plane is actually taking off to avoid any false starts. If your baby is eating solids, don’t run out of snacks! I brought a quiet book and spinner toys to tire her out.
When it was nap time, I put baby girl back in the CUDLluxe carrier facing me. I bounced up and down in my seat while doing butt pats and shushing and she fell asleep!
The NunaCUDLluxe is more than $100 off as part of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale!
