Deep Fury could easily be an action movie! It had a bit of everything — part suspenseful thriller, part high stakes flight/action, and it even had some humor and a bit of a love story! The landlady was one of my favorite characters ever - listening to this on audio was fun. I loved her accent and how she spoke/the stories she told. Kissed JFK? No big deal. Ran a marathon? Been there, done that, might as well run for public office. Logan, the main character, was so cocky/arrogant but also likable, it was easy to picture him as some ex-military macho guy. It was a bit of a slow burn, with all the action culminating into a lackluster scene in the desert… but kudos to the rattlesnake, he’s the real MVP. *Thanks to NetGalley for the audio ARC for review Books to read and reading list Book
