Storm in the Night by Mary Stolz is one of my fav interactive read alouds in third grade!! The dialogue between the grandfather and grandson, the humor, the descriptive language, the illustrations, all of it!! 😗👌🏻 After reading and talking about the book, my students created their own book covers. I’m in love!! 😍 I definitely have some artists in my classroom this year!! They gravitate to all things drawing, creating, and building. LTKkids
