Friends, if I can speak from the heart, I’ve had a hard time the past few weeks playing the “comparison game” and feeling like in every area of my life I wasn’t measuring up. I wasn’t working hard enough, eating well enough, working out enough, planning enough, being a fun enough mom… the list goes on and on. And tonight, I hopped on the Peloton after several weeks of, well not, and it was stinking hard. But when the comparison game crept in tonight I changed the voice in my head to say “I’m proud of you for showing up. I’m proud of you for not giving up.” And so I’m going to work on carrying that voice into my everyday, and to remind myself that every day I’m showing up, working hard, and not giving up.
