When you are choosing bags for your kits make sure you pick a bag that is large enough for the items you would like to have packed in your bags. I prefer to have larger bags for adults and smaller bags for children.

Do you have emergency water at your house? What about water filters? I'm not talking your basic water filter, I’m talking about the kind of filter that you can use in an emergency!

This might seem unconventional BUT what if you put some of these items in your loved ones stockings this year instead of junk that gets thrown away?

I highly recommend you have a bare minimum of 3 days worth of emergency water, preferably 2 weeks!

Hot Chocolate Bar ☕️

My kids gathered items from our kitchen, pantry, and food storage to create a Hot Chocolate Bar for the holidays.

We added some cute new Christmas/Holiday mugs from Walmart (they were super affordable).

We also added an electric tea kettle! I love how fast it heats up and that I don’t have to worry about my kids using the stove to heat the water for their hot chocolate!
