I just kept waiting and waiting and waiting for this book to suck me in. . . .and it never did. Some books surprise me by feeling way outside my normal reading tastes (like Remarkably Bright Creatures) and then they just swoop in and delight me. This book had no swoop. It just went on and on and on and on and I breathed a sigh of relief when it was over and I could move on to the next book. If you read this and loved it, tell me what I missed!
