When I was eight or nine, my mom read aloud the first fractured fairy tale book I ever remember reading – Beauty by Robin McKinley. A few days in, I woke up in the night to see her sitting on the floor outside my bedroom finishing the book by the glow of the hallway light! It was such a great story and I’ve been hooked on fractured fairy tale books every since! Now as an adult, I still love a great retelling of a favorite fairy tale and I’m sharing some of my favorites here. LTKKids LTKFamily
