After 11 years in this home, I FINALLY got around to hanging some art on entry staircase wall 😅 I wanted something affordable with clean lines that isn’t fussy but made a statement without standing out like a sore thumb👍🏻 The answer: These classy (yet VERY affordable) frames from Michaels! Paired with 12x12 pics sent straight from my Instagram profile to Shutterfly! I LOVE the quality and price of their prints and I always get them sooner than the expected arrival date. I opted for a trendier matte that required custom cuts from a frame shop...BUT, never fear, by buying (3) 24X36 mat boards and having them cut down to the (6) 16x20 sized frames, I was still able to complete this gallery wall without breaking the bank! Don’t forget to have the openings cut smaller than the 12x12 photographs😬 I also had my openings start 6 inches from the bottom of the matte...but who’s counting?? For the lighting, I had my eye on some snazzier (and pricier) fixtures...BUT, we realized we were working with some issues that narrowed down options quickly. The original electrical work wasn’t spaced evenly on the wall, and I needed a sconce that wouldn’t hang too low or stick out too far on the steps. http://liketk.it/2LZYT liketkit Because of this, we settled on this inexpensive lighting from Amazon, and surprisingly, I L❤️VE it!
