I used to think it was a badge of honor if I went to bed, exhausted, and crossed everything off my to do list and didn’t do anything for myself that day. The real badge of honor is knowing that I got my items done on my to do list, but I also took care of myself. It is really easy to get burnt out Mom’s. It’s really easy to make excuses for why we are not doing things that are good for us. It’s harder to practice time management and actually make the time for ourselves. I encourage you to figure out where in your day you can spend an hour on your physical and mental health. Here are some things I do: - read my Bible first thing in the morning - Try to get a 15 to 30 minute walk in or exercising each day - make sure I’m having good food choices and not overindulging too much - If I have to make a choice between a house chore or taking a shower I choose the shower. - I evaluate what I’m saying no to in order for me to say yes to something else - I read books on time management, how to be a Christian mom and wife, parenting, marriage, and more to help learn from others and put into practice what would work for our family. An investment in yourself, Mama is an investment in your family. 🤍🤍🤍 ☀️ Shop my outfit from @thighsociety on my @shop.ltk these will be my go-to ALL summer!👇🏼 thighsociety LTKseasonal LTKstyletip LTKplussize LTKmidsize
