I’ve seen so many tutorials for these terracotta pumpkins and the easiest way i found to do it is just using a little paint and baking soda:

1. Mix acrylic paints whitewash, honey brown, warm beige until you are satisfied with the terracotta color
2. Paint pumpkin and dust with a LIGHT coating of baking soda.
3. Let pumpkin dry and brush off excess baking soda.

You can also mix the baking soda into the paint but it will make it clumpy and harder to apply.
