One of my vices is a great pair of shoes and I’m loving my new @allenedmonds loafers. I got my love of shoes from my dad. Growing up my dad swore by Allen Edmonds and he was meticulously about caring for them. Every weekend my dad would polish the shoes he wore during the week. I would sneak a pair out his closet Sunday night and return them Friday. He never said a word but would polish the ones I wore too. My dad gave me these tips: 1. Never wear the same shoes two days in a row, they need time to breathe. 2. Always use shoe trees. They help keep your shoes in the best condition. 3. Keep you shoes clean and well polished So while these new shoes are now in heavy rotation, in honor of my dad, you won’t see me wearing them 2 days in a row, I’ll keep them polished and yes they are in shoe trees!
