⛑🩹 First Aid Kit Must Have!⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Did you know that Neosporin has three different types of antibiotics and is petroleum-based? The antibiotics are neomycin sulfate, polymyxin B, and bacitracin. Neomycin, in particular, is a well-known allergen that can cause dermatitis. It's also been found that Neosporin overuse may lead to the development of antibiotic resistance. Yikes! When we need antibiotics we want our body to respond! Plus studies have shown that Neosporin works no better than plain ol' petroleum jelly.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ One of my favorite first aid products is Active Skin Repair. It comes in a gel and also a spray (which is a total game-changer.) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ From the Active Website: "We use natural ingredients and a proprietary manufacturing process to replicate the same molecule your white blood cells produce in response to injury. Active Skin Repair does not use toxic chemicals, synthetic antibiotics or petroleum, and is biodegradable."⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ It's great for scrapes, sunburns, rashes, and more!⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What's a must-have in your first aid kit?
