We have a tradition the past several years of making hot chocolate and going to look at lights the night before Christmas. It’s something I really look forward to because the massive Live Oak trees in the old parts of Houston are the most incredible sight all lit up. The kids informed me this year they are “over it” and “it’s sooo boring”. 😟 I guess it’s part of them growing older, but darn it I thought we were going to have a little more time before traditions became uncool.
