If you are anything like me, we’ve reached the point in summer where we are itching to pick up a few new gems to get us through the remainder of the warm days ahead, but also thinking about fall fashion. It’s a true style dichotomy! What I’ve come to learn in my years of exploring personal style and fashion, is that this time of the year is selecting pieces with intentionality! I’ve been wearing my classic white woven on repeat and thought that finding a fresh one with some novelty would be the perfect way to style now and wear later. I made a visit to Talbots and found a lovely updated button down full of interest and personality. For the remaining summer days ahead, I’ll wear it standalone or even style with a thin linen blazer like this one (also from Talbots). For early Fall, I will opt for transitional denim trousers (that I could honestly wear now) and a thicker blazer. I particularly love the juxtaposition of the bold color block stripe of the woven and the classic plaid print making it perfectly seasonally for fall! Let this be that gentle nudge to grab a few new things to wear now & style later.
