Can’t wait to do a whole lot of this during winter break starting tomorrow! I genuinely love the holidays & all the magic that comes with them (Christmas decorations are my favorite!)… it just seems like it’s going so fast this year & there’s just so much going on that I’m having trouble figuring out how to slow it all down to savor the moments more (& keep it all straight 🤪)! 1. Keep a notebook of everything bought with the price sorted by person.

Making scones with these two is my favorite ☕️🥣🥞

Here’s the recipe I use for sourdough scones:

2 cups + 2tsp flour
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp sea salt
2 tsp baking powder
1 stick butter
1 cup mini chocolate chips (or use 1/2 chocolate, 1/2 white chocolate… also delicious with blueberries & white chocolate!)
1/2 cup sourdough discard
1 large egg
2 tsp vanilla
2 tbsp half & half

Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes ⏲️😋👩‍🍳
