It feels like it’s been a month of summer vacation already & we’re only a week in 🤪 A few things in no particular order:
☀️The kids & I started summer journals & it’s been fun to recap the day together.
🍉 I’m loving this blue & white striped tank dress- so easy for every day!
🌊 Ordinary days are my favorite kind & we have not had one since before school let out… here’s to next week!
☕️Hot coffee in the morning is my favorite, no matter the weather.

We’re so close to finally being done her room! As usual, it was a way bigger project that we anticipated & we’re about 3 weeks in 🤷🏻‍♀️ I don’t like to order a whole lot ahead of time 1. Because we live in an old house & nothing ever goes the way we expect & 2. Because I change my mind A LOT 😂 Time has been the biggest issue, as in finding the time to work on it, for us (& probably most DIYers) but all in all Joe really did an incredible job on these bookshelves & I’m so happy with how they turned out! Can’t wait to decorate this little spot for the holidays!

Got glasses from Warby Parker yesterday for the first time & I was so impressed! They had the cutest frames, took my insurance, & I was in & out in 15 minutes! I’m sending Joe there for his next pair, too!

It’s been so nice lately! Finally got this @favoritedaughter sweatshirt I’ve been wanting for months & I love it! I sized up so it would feel more oversized for when I just want to be comfortable in leggings (which, let’s be honest, is most days 😂) & it’s perfect! Note: it is an oversized sweatshirt anyway so take your regular size if you’re not going for the longer look! I’m so happy with how our family photos turned out last month. I like to pick out one item that’s a focal point or one really special piece (in this case, it was my dress) & coordinate the rest of the looks with that… or at least make sure the other outfits don’t clash with it!
