Day 2 of our trip was driving from Cary, NC to Savannah, GA & got a little thrown off because of 🌀 Debbie. We ate breakfast at The Umstead (I can’t say enough good things about their açaí bowl!) & then had to wait out a tornado watch & a flash flood warning. Luckily, we left in a pocket of not terrible weather & missed any severe storms. When we got to Savannah, it was hot & sunny so we quickly checked into The Alida & walked to The Pirate House for dinner 🏴‍☠️ It was pretty late so we didn’t have time for much else this time but it was a fun stop!
