My dear friends, sharing with you latest update on my pillow hunt @target : you already know part of the story of our mid century modern home transformation combined with some modern organic elements. And we are struggling to fill the space with some throw pillow and blanket accents which would be budget friendly aka under $50 a pillow or less; and at that would meet our styling concept and have soft velvet and linen textures combinations. So I have been researching #target throw pillows carefully and found these pillows that I have been sharing in my moodboards series with you. 💫Sharing with you my favorite life-hack to transform your space into a dynamic and versatile environment. Guess what always impacts us constantly everywhere? Yes, you right - it is The Light! Daylight, sunlight, moonlight, starlight:) Ok, some types of light humans took under full control! -and named it Smartlight! With this type of lights in your home you can create any atmosphere and mood immediately in seconds. Just put smart bulbs in your lamps, chandeliers, pendants, where ever you’d like to add some intrigue and functionality. And Vuala - zillion options controlled from your phone no matter where you are. You can make the lights daylight bright white, you can make them any particular color you like, they have flickering candle light mode , flickering fire mode, sanitizing mode - build in sanitizing light! All lights are dimmable and programmable, which means that you can program certain time-slots for certain type of light color to be activated thru the day or the week or the month, etc. Also they work with google, alexa and siri with voice control. For example I have these bulbs in my bedroom lamps and they turn on with the sunset at a certain color. ✨🌵We wanted to create a very cozy, romantic and fun for kids atmosphere in our backyard. As a start we bought ground solar lights to highlight sunset shades and shadows on the vegetation in our backyard. And this worked out perfectly. Another favorite is recently found waterproof solar floor lamp with adjustable 3 modes of light color. ✨👌🏼Sharing my personal lifehack which saves me so much time and effort, super healthy and delicious! I chop couple shallots, preheat pan at medium high, add a bit of olive oil, add shallots. Cover with lid and let shallots cook for couple minutes, they should start to turn transparent. When they do, add shredded carrots, mix and cover with lid for another five or so minutes. Turn down the heat to medium. Now open the lid, umm smells delicious! It is just the beginning! Add some garlic paste, frozen garlic or fresh garlic. I love frozen garlic bites, they give perfect smell and taste to my dishes. Also I love to use garlic paste. Clean, quick and easy solution. So add garlic and lemongrass paste. Mix altogether and cover with lid again for another couple minutes. You want to mix the flavors. Turn down the heat to medium-low. Now come chicken tights. Open the lid and put chicken tights on top of the carrots. Close with lid. Leave the heat low to medium and let it cook for about 30 minutes. Open the lid. Smells so good, I know:) Turn all the tights to the other side. Do not mix yet. Close the lid and cook for another 20 minutes. Now when it’s cooked you can mix everything evenly. This is not the end:) You can try right away with some rice, potatoes or veggies. I cook quiet a bunch of chicken tights. Now I let them sit for some time to cool down. Then I freeze them in portions and use when I need to. Best part is that if to put it in water you can make a bullion and a soup, chicken noodle for example in minutes! Vuala! 🧡One of my favorite appetizers - figs with combozola, pecans and honey. Quick, easy and super tasty. Preheat the oven at 350 Fahrenheit. Take figs, rinse them off and get rid of stems. Let them dry a bit. Then cut each fig from the top in four parts, but do not cut fully through. Leave the very bottom. Now put all the figs into baking dish and spread them out a bit. Then comes combozola cheese. Cut it into small pieces and fill in each fig with combozola piece. Now add some honey on top and send to the oven for about 7 minutes to heat and mix at 350 Fahrenheit. In the meanwhile crush some fresh pecans. Now take figs out of oven, sprinkle with crushed pecans and serve. Vuala! Enjoy! Great for any occasion. Goes perfectly with wine and charcuterie board. 🍀🍀🍀Another quick and easy recipe hack - homemade greenery add on. I use it almost in all my dishes! Take couple shallots, green onions or chives, parsley, cilantro and dill. Rinse everything with water and make sure to dry with paper towel - this is very important. Now chop everything and put in a bowl. Do not mix yet! Another important detail here is the sequence of layers - start with shallots, then green onions, parsley, cilantro then dill. Vuala! Store in a fridge immediately. This mix allows me to quickly elevate my salads, soups, eggs, omelets, any dishes. Perfect solution to make quick real salsa in seconds.
