There’s a new series on the feed and it's talking about something we all love to spend money on, bags. But this is not another rendition of Splurge Specialist, this is something new altogether. I'm taking you back to class and we're learning all about the luxury bags and how to shop for them. In this series we are not only covering the basics but we'll be doing some head to head comparisons, informing you on the best and worst materials and so much more.

COLOR OF THE YEAR 2025 - MOCHA MOUSSE

It's safe to say that the color of the year last year was completely forgotten (Peach Fuzz) and replaced with the popular choice, burgundy. But will that be the case this year? With the 2025 color of the year being something so neutral and palatable, I'm eager to see if it will catch on in the fashion world. If I'm being honest this should have been the color of the year at least a year ago when quite luxury was at its peak but I digress, maybe they're just a year behind.

YEAR IN REFLECTION

Reflecting on this year, I can honestly say this has been one of my best in my career.

You might not have seen sponsored on my posts as frequently, but I was doing something more important. I was building a community that is even stronger than ever. We have honesty, accountability, and support within the AWE-Star community and that wouldn't have been possible had I not shifted my focus this year.

I wanted to provide more impact, more value and more authenticity to my audience and I can confidently say I've achieved that. This year has shown me that I can speak my mind and still share all the things that brought you here in the first place, fashion and our love of it.

So a heartfelt thank you from me to you, my AWE-Stars. I do this for you.

DO I STILL FEEL THE SAME WAY
Can I trust my own opinion when it comes to fashion? It seems like for the most part I can.

In today's video, we are discussing items that I had a pretty strong opinion about in previous videos and I want to see if my opinions have swayed. Covering all things fashion of course, we touch on some heels that hurt, bags that are too popular for their own good and accessories that your favorite influencers have continued to buy despite the price increases.

Items I should have duped - Alaïa Stass Suede Ballet Flats

If you tell me you didn’t see this style on your feed I would be shocked. This style, no matter how elementary it appears, was all the rage these past few months and the leading lady was the Alaïa Strass Suede Ballet flat. Seen on the feet of fashion influencers worldwide, or were they?

As one of the most duped styles I have seen in a long time, I couldn’t commit to the price tag on the Alaïa’s. It’s like how I felt about the Loewe Bubble Glasses. But this time around, instead of duping, I just found and purchased a comparable style from Loeffler Randall and I am loving them.
