📒 You know when you have your first kid and you keep this beautiful, carefully curated and up-to-date memory book? 🙋🏻‍♀️Yeah, me too. But then that baby grows up and life gets busy, or you add another 👶🏻 and life gets even crazier. Those memory books quickly take a backseat to running your life and keeping children alive. Silly priorities, right? 🤪 🌟I am such a sentimental person and I NEED a memory book for my kids, but I also need it to be easy. Here’s what has worked for me: 📔Pre-made memory books. There are so many varieties out there, but the @lucydarlingshop books have my heart. They are well made, so EASY to fill out and best of all, they’re still super CUTE. 📗They come with 4x4 photo openings which ends up working perfectly with the @shutterfly app. You can order FREE 4x4 prints through their mobile app (just pay for shipping). When the photos arrive just pop them in! Perfect fit. 📘Written prompts are already included for each month and/or year to make sure you remember the special moments and adorable things they say. 📙Ideally every 6 months, but more likely once a year, I go through the book and write down what pictures I need to order from Shutterfly to fill in the pages. Once the photos arrive it’s really just an hour or so of my time to catch up for the year. 📚 I got the baby books for each of my kids and once they turned 1, got the “Little Years” that cover years 1-5. 🌟My oldest is about to turn 5….and I have yet to discover what I’ll use next!
