The island area in my kitchen gets so much traffic, despite hardwoods being so beautiful, some days I wish for tile like the olden days. @amberinteriors launched a rug collab with @loloirugs and I wanted to test one of her prints in our kitchen since there’s always so much water splashing everywhere and it was starting to ruin my floors. Not only did I get the must plush rug that feels so cloud like on my feet, but I now have something that’s less expensive than replacing the planks. The rug dries pretty quickly and protects this space from all the hand and dishwashing.
