We chose a butterfly theme for our son’s second birthday because of his pure joy every time he saw one, whether it was fluttering outside, printed in his picture books, or even the small butterfly image on his yogurt packets. His eyes would light up, and his excitement was contagious! He’s also developed an adorable habit of mispronouncing “butterfly” as “firefly,” which just melts our hearts.
