I DISAGREE! Making your own candles can be such creative experience. You can choose to use new containers, mason jars, or find some vintage vessels when you thrift to use. You can add flower petals, dried flowers, and any scent you want!

This vintage inspired ribbed glass candy dish turned DIY candle is my new favorite accent piece in my blogging home office! Day 15 of my 31 Days of Closet Magic Challenge is all about those warm, grounding hues. If I look a little strange, I started my day off at the dentist getting a filling replaced so my right side of my mouth was completely numb for this recording.

I started with a chocolate brown bodysuit under a denim jumpsuit, layered it with an oversized knit vest, and added brown Crue Freebird booties (with the comfiest socks, of course). Finished off with a charm necklace and a cute brown twist headband for an effortlessly earthy look. Perfect for chilly winter days!
