My baby favorites for weeks 4-8!
1. Baby bjorn bouncer- my kid loves this thing so much. I bring it everywhere, the bathroom, the kitchen, the living room. He will sit there and bounce away. It’s also a great tool to use if your arms are tired and they need a nap. Just bounce them to sleep with your foot and move to bassinet! Worth every penny.
2. Removable toy bar- this toy bar is a life saver. Probably one of our most used items right now. It attaches to anything. Crib, bassinet, car seat, pack and play! It comes with a carrying case so you can bring it on trips. My son loves the contrast colors on it and will stare for hours.
3. Love’d Baby sleepers- the softest sleepers on the market. Trust me I’ve done the research with trial and error. Also, everyone says to get the zip ones... I prefer the button ones. You can just unbutton the bottom instead of fully unzipping them. Also the zips aren’t as comfortable.
4. Lovevery play gym- an essential for development. After researching, this playgym is the most “Montessori” out of them all. Bright colors, but not overly stimulating with crazy lights and sounds where they could get over whelmed trying to concentrate.
5. Gerber Vitamin D with probiotics- since my son is exclusively breast fed we had to introduce vitamin D into his diet. I put a little of this in his mouth at night. I firmly believe it helps with gas as well as providing vitamin D.
6. Earth mama diaper balm- in combo with the burts bees multi purpose balm this stuff is perfect. It smells really natural and calming and he’s never had a diaper rash. I apply it after every number 2 as a preventive measure.
7. Honest company sweet almond shampoo and wash- just smells amazing and works. Period.
8. Nuk pacis- the only paci he will take. I think it’s because of the flattened nipple which is similar to the breast. Also I love the hooks on them it helps him keep them in his mouth.

6. Boppy Newborn Lounger— around the 4 week mark they like to look around more. He sits on the couch with us kicking his legs in this thing. Again, we found a much softer version on pottery barn than the ones on amazon and in buy buy baby. So I linked the one we have from PB.

7. The Lollipop Camera— the perfect all in one camera. Easy to set up, sleek, great picture, cry detection that alerts your phone or iPad. Just the perfect camera. We love it.

8. Owelette Smart Sock— the first 4 weeks are scary. Watching your little one like a hawk. This gives a peace of mind, monitoring your little beans oxygen and heart rate. We did have a false alarm which was extremely scary but over all a great product that helped me get some sleep at night.

9. Sherpa baby blanket— pottery barn once again comes through with the softest fabrics ever. We got this as a gift and we use it every time we leave the house. Since you can’t put a baby in jackets in the car seat a nice warm baby blanket is a must. My little mush falls asleep in a nice cocoon with this thing. Nice for fall/ winter walks in the stroller too.

10. Burts Bees Multipurpose ointment— we lather him in this after baths. It makes him feel super soft and prevents diaper rash as well. ( he has never had diaper rash!!) All natural and petroleum free which is a plus!

11. Snuggle me organic— another lounger. We use this one for supervised sleep during the day. He likes the way it snugs him close like he’s in the womb. Worth the price tag for good naps.

12. Fridababy skin soother— we use this during bath time to massage him. He acts like it’s the best thing ever and it also prevents cradle cap. So for 8$ I would say it’s worth a try!

13. Copper pearl car seat cover— we love these. Soft stretchy fabric that keeps the sunlight out of his eyes in the car and people from reaching in while we are out. I also use it as a breastfeeding cover! It works great.

14. Art cards for baby— during the first couple weeks they can only see high contrast black and white images. This is a great way to introduce it without overstimulating your newborn with bright colors and lights. My son loves them, he instantly goes wide eyed.
