Tableware is always an important element to consider when creating a Thanksgiving tablescape. Neutral monochromatic shades like white and cream will let other elements stand out and will bring a sense of balance to the table. For an intricate look, choose tableware with unique shapes and textures or even specialized themed pieces for Thanksgiving with pumpkins & birds like mine. For a unique look, you can consider mismatched dinnerware and glassware. To add some metallic touches, opt for brass, copper, and iron. Whatever you decide to do as far as color always make sure you have enough of everything for all the courses you serve and drinks you have available. If you don't have enough room to put coffee out you can add a coffee station like I did here for after-dinner coffee & desserts.
