have you ever thought about cloth diapering your baby?!🙋🏻♀️
we do cloth diapering “the easy way” as i like to call it. if you’ve ever wanted to but thought it was too scary or messy, try following these tips to help!👇🏻
1. hold off on cloth diapering until baby is eating solid foods regularly and their poops become less messy 💩 (if you could easily dump their waste out of the diaper and into the toilet.. it’s time!)
2. don’t use cloth diapers at night. they don’t do as good of a job absorbing moisture so baby is more prone to rashes.
3. be sure to use a protective diaper cream any time they’re wearing a cloth diaper (our favorite is baby aquaphor)
4. get the all-in-one adjustable diapers (ours are by bumgenius but target sells ones by charlie banana!) that way you don’t have to worry about sizing or buying replacement cloths!
5. use regularly diapers while traveling. ain’t nobody got time for that diaper washing life on vacation😉
those are my top 5 tips! even doing it this way still saves so👏🏻much👏🏻money on diapers before potty training💛 i have a whole blog post dedicated to my method over on amandafontenot.com if you’d like more info! just search “cloth diapers” on the blog (link in profile)! http://liketk.it/3iANn @liketoknow.it liketkit LTKbaby LTKfamily @liketoknow.it.family
