Deep clean / stripping bedding in the tub is pretty simple! I use branch basics concentrate, borax, baking soda and oxygen boost. (You can simply use oxygen boost with the concentrate and that is enough)
Here’s how you can deep clean or strip your bedding in the tub using Branch Basics Concentrate, borax, baking soda, and oxygen boost:
What You’ll Need:
• 1/4 cup Branch Basics Concentrate
• 1/4 cup borax
• 1/4 cup baking soda
• 1/4 cup oxygen boost
• Bathtub filled with hot water
Instructions:
1. Prep the Tub:
Fill your bathtub about halfway with hot water (enough to fully submerge the bedding).
2. Mix the Ingredients:
Add the Branch Basics Concentrate, borax, baking soda, and oxygen boost to the hot water. Stir to dissolve everything thoroughly.
3. Add Your Bedding:
Submerge your bedding completely, ensuring it’s fully saturated.
4. Soak:
Let the bedding soak for 4-6 hours. Occasionally stir or agitate the water to help loosen buildup.
5. Drain and Rinse:
Drain the tub and rinse the bedding thoroughly with clean water to remove any residue.
6. Wash as Usual:
After stripping, run the bedding through a normal wash cycle in your washing machine.
7. Dry:
Dry your bedding as you normally would.
This method helps remove buildup, body oils, and detergent residue, leaving your bedding fresh and clean!
