We’ve never done an advent calendar for Christmas until this year. I didn’t want to distract from the true meaning of Christmas and make the focus all about gifts so we started a new tradition. While we read a chapter of Luke each day of December, we also would read a passage from these advent cards as well. The excitement on my daughter’s face every morning we came downstairs as she would say “today we’re going to read..” as she’d reach for a card made my mama heart so happy 🤍 she’s only two but the love and fire she already has for Jesus is inspiring and I pray it follows and leads her throughout her entire life 🙏🏽 LTKSeasonal LTKkids LTKhome
