1. 3 years ago, i was leading a web design team at a marketing agency i had worked at since i was 22. it wasn’t fully filling my cup so i turned to posting on social media as my creative outlet 2. I got laid off from that job a year and a half ago, and now I’m a full-time content creator—something I love but sometimes feel guilty about while others are grinding in 9-5s. 3. I am very self conscious of the size of my forehead. Growing up i would always try to raise my eyebrows to hide it and now i have wrinkles there. I’ve gotten bangs to hide it too (still have curtain bangs for that reason). Thankfully the older I get, the more my face is balancing out, but it is the part of my body I am most self conscious about. 4. Sometimes I feel like I dress too ‘young’ because i love to wear color, but another part of me loves dressing chic, so I’m still trying to find that balance. 5. I’m a people pleaser and recently have been trying to balance not saying yes to everything. I’m also guilty of saying yes to too much then bailing, which I am working on. 6. I’ve had a difficult time sticking to a workout routine ever since moving to California, i just haven’t found a studio i truly love that isn’t an arm and a leg 7. We had an intimate wedding in Italy last year, and didn’t invite friends because we didn’t want to leave anyone out and wanted to save on cost. I regret not having my best friends there 8. We don’t own a home yet, and honestly, I’m not sure when we will. The housing market is wild, especially in California and renting just makes more sense right now. 9. Some days, I feel ahead in life. Other days, I feel so behind. But mostly, I’m just making it up as I go. My goal is to try to be more real on here. The social media world is just too fixated on being perfect.
