I think I’m due for a bumpdate. ⁣

Mmkay so here’s the deal: ⁣

⬇️ Baby girl is head down 🙌🏻 I’m still kind of in shock. I’ve never experienced this before! Both my boys turned really late in the game. This time, I’ve been really intentional on the way that I sit and lay to give her room in my pelvis and aloe her to turn down. It looks like it just might have worked! ⁣
⁣
🐳 I’m definitely feeling big. I always carry “big” and even with my boys, I was told over and over again that I would have a big baby and I’m “so big”. So I’m trying to put all of that away and not carry it around with me. But it’s hard sometimes. As long as she’s healthy, I’m happy! ⁣
⁣
💥 This pregnancy hurts more. Lol I’m experiencing sciatica this time around, which is new to me. I’m also feeling a little bit of the pubic symphysis that I had with Elliot. I just think I’m having it a little earlier this time around. ⁣
⁣
🎀 I’m still trying to organize myself enough to do the nursery. I’ve started…but have a long way to go before I have anything to share with you guys! I’m so excited for my pretty pink nursery though. It’s already a dream. ⁣

👦🏼👦🏼 The boys are obsessed. They talk about “little sister” all of the time. They are now waiting patiently for Easter because I told them that baby will come some time after Easter 🐣 ⁣

Are you the type that embraces the bump and everything that comes with it? Or the type that just grits their teeth and tolerates it? ⁣

I know that the divide between people who LOVE to be pregnant and people who just do it because they have to in order to get their end result (that sweet baby) is like 50/50. Am I right about that? ⁣

♥️♥️♥️Well, for me, I LOVE IT. ♥️♥️♥️⁣

🎈 I love the growing belly. ⁣
⁣
🦵 I love the kicks and subtle movements that only I can feel ⁣
⁣
🐣 I love all the planning that comes with pregnancy. You know, getting the nursery ready, picturing the baby in your belly actually using the crib that you’ve set up for her…⁣
⁣
🪄It’s just magic. ⁣
⁣
But I can’t say I love worrying about stretch marks or saggy skin afterwards. ⁣
⁣
In most cases, the result of your skin after pregnancy is a lot about genetics and not a lot about whether or not you chose the “right” cream. ⁣
⁣
And although I’ve had two full term pregnancies without stretch marks on my belly, I still feel obligated to do everything I can to continue to prevent them. ⁣
⁣
1. Hydrate. Nourish your skin with so much water! ⁣
2. Oil before bed ⁣
3. Cream in the morning ⁣
⁣
…and if nothing else, at least my skin is moisturized. Lol ⁣
⁣
For those mamas out there rocking their tiger stripes, you’re beautiful. Keep on rock in’ them mama. ⁣
⁣
Even better, you are an inspiration to me to start LOVING that part of pregnancy too. ⁣
