Our black pantry is one of the most functional spaces in our home. We cook almost every meal we eat ourselves and we don’t like getting groceries so we like to stock up on everything we can. My inspiration when we designed this pantry was an old school general store and the idea was to be able to “shop my home” when cooking. (Side note: some people think our pantry is blue but it’s actually black. In natural light, it can look dark blue because of the undertones but I took this picture last night after dark to show that its true color is black.) The containers we use are air-tight, leak-proof, dishwasher-safe, and an important extra feature they have is that they’re a size where I can easily grab even the biggest one with one hand. I did a lot of research and tried a lot of different containers before deciding on these and these were simply the best ones for our needs!
