Woke up feeling extra thankful to call this space home. 🖤 It’s always been easy for me to “plan” and “be ready” for the next thing. Maybe you can relate. I spent years hoping and wishing for the day we’d become homeowners - to have a place that was OURS. I’m embarrassed to admit that it took until about a year ago for me to finally feel content with where we were. To realize that a house doesn’t define us as a family and that we can be “Us” anywhere. Don’t get it twisted - I’m still excited for the day Michael and I get the opportunity to buy our first home and experience a new season of life, and I believe God places these desires on our hearts for a reason. Desires to grow our families, get promoted, make new friends, move to another state, but I’ve also learned it’s how we handle the in between that truly challenges us and molds us into who we are and who God wants us to be. Thankfully, I am certain that God’s timing is far better than my own. 🙌🏼 So for now, I’ll soak up all the moments I can get in this sweet chapter with my little fam. 👩🏻👱🏻♂️🐶🐶 Linked up all decor I could on the LTK app. Table and Couch are from @article.
