98. After I Do by Taylor Jenkins Reid :: 5/5⭐️ ok I really loved this book!! I can always tell I get a winner when I’m so much more entranced by it than previous books i’ve read! Lauren and Ryan got married young after falling in love in school and after 10 years they notice they can’t stand each other. They plan a trial separation: for one year they can not contact each other in anyway and at the end of the year if they want to get back together they will, if not they go their separate ways. Their time apart becomes a time of growth and feelings and trying. I absolutely ate this story up. I love TJRs writing style and how real and raw she writes. She captured so eloquently how the characters were feeling and I really felt like I was in their heads. Plus the ending was wrapped so neatly in a bow, I just couldn’t not give it 5 stars!
