117. The Devil Wears Scrubs by Frieda McFadden :: 2.75/5⭐️. Jane is a medical intern just starting her residency at Community Hospital and it is hell! From drug addicted patients, to mean preceptors, to working for 30 hours at a time, Jane just can’t seem to catch a break. Every chapter she wonders if she’s cut out for this. This book did NOT start out strong at all. I actually didn’t like the first 1/3 of the book. It wasn’t funny, and I just did not like the writing. The last half picked up more, but I kind of feel like I just ended. Wouldn’t really recommend unless you’re a med student. LTKHome LTKTravel
