Now that the kids are back in school, the illnesses are coming home. 🙈 This immunity drink has been a lifesaver! I don’t have a juicer, so I used my blender along with some OJ 🍊 —bonus points for the extra fiber this way! I skipped the digestive bitters since I didn’t have any, but it still turned out. Recipe inspiration from @thegeelife. ❤️
Ingredients:
• 1 orange, peeled
• 1 apple, cored
• 2 medium carrots, peeled
• 1-inch piece of fresh ginger
• 1/2 tsp turmeric powder (or a small piece of fresh turmeric)
• 1 tbsp lemon juice
• 3–4 dashes of digestive bitters
• Pinch of black pepper (activates turmeric)
Optional: 1/2 tsp honey for sweetness
