The Little Nomad Play Mat from @houseofnoa_ has by far been our favorite play room purchase! We bought ours in the Ula print which is a hand-illustrated design inspired by vintage Moroccan rugs.

In true autumn spirit, I of course had to bring back this DIY! 👻

Here are all of the supplies to make your own DIY Mini Ghost Lamp!!

Ready to get in the spooky mood? This simple and easy fall craft uses minimal supplies and doesn’t take much time to make! It looks sleek and modern and brings a cozy, warm glow during spooky season.

Grab some air dry clay from any craft store, I used Crayola’s air dry clay.

Roll a large chunk of clay flat (on top of a large piece of Glad Cling Wrap) as if rolling out sugar cookie dough.

Next, tape a small ball to the top of an upside down red Solo Cup. Cover this drying stand with some Glad Cling Wrap to avoid your ghost from sticking while it dries!

Cut the perimeter of your flattened clay into an (imperfect) circular shape.

Then lift the clay circle by the Glad Cling Wrap underneath and gently lay it over your solo cup drying stand. Gently press clay down around cup, creating drape like curves.

Puncture three holes for eyes and a mouth using a straw (use your creative freedom to give the ghost your desired personality).

Wait 2-3 days for air dry clay to fully dry. Gently lift ghost off the stand. Leave your ghost with an organic clay finish or customize it with paint.

Find a cute place to display your ghost & place a battery operated tea light candle underneath (opt for a battery operated candle to avoid overheating the clay with a real flame, I linked my favorite ones)!

How did I get this 60” X 40” large scale art with hanging gear and everything for under $450?!

In a living room, wall art should span at least 2/3 the width of the sofa, so I knew I needed to seek out a very large piece of art!

On Etsy, I found a stunning, modern art piece by JasmineElizabethShop for sale in a digital format in the size 60” x 40” and uploaded it straight to @frameiteasy selected the frame “Ashford” in “Satin Black” which increased the dimensions to 60 3/16” x 40 3/16” spanning frame edge to edge. I purchased this piece while it was on sale for $91.55.

I wanted to highlight the originality of the art print the best I could so I selected “Art” print paper with a “Standard Foamcore” backing and a “Non-Glare Acrylic” cover!

I simply purchased and downloaded the file from the artist’s Etsy shop, then uploaded the file directly to frameiteasy.com and double checked the art was proper quality and size by checking the DPI (dots per linear inch) which for this high quality art piece was 300.

Pro-tip: I also purchased their “Secure Hanging Hardware (Metal Frames)” for simple and safe hanging! With the hanging gear, the frame total was $334.74.
