Having grown up in Florida, the four seasons were really more like one long summer and a tiny few months of “bitter cold”. The same bitter cold in which we’d witness snowbirds from Canada wearing shorts and tanks hopping into the water because it “felt great”. Even though I’ve got thin blood I love cooler weather. The last few mornings it’s been cool and I’ve enjoyed waiting for the sun to rise offering warmth. I love that the seasons are a reminder of changes in our life. That we can experience the difficulty of cold in the winter but the joy of warmth when spring comes. If you find yourself in a season of cold, just remember that the sun will rise again.
