I knew as soon as I saw this J. McLaughlin blouse that it was coming home with me. 1. It has birds on it. I will buy anything with birds on it (almost). 2. It’s a button down. Having a huge moment in my closet right now. 3. The colors. You’ve probably noticed that I don’t wear a ton of color. But the colors in this blouse work for me. It’s got brown, shades of orange and yellow, and pink. And even though this shade of pink isn’t in my color profile (I’m an Autumn) it doesn’t bother me mixed with the other shades. I wanted a little bit of an oversized fit, so I sized up to a medium. I’m pretty sure next time I wear it I will pair it with brown accessories. Jeans are sold out but the pair I’m linking is almost identical. I found this short sleeve puffer jacket a couple of years ago at J. McLaughlin and I have loved it. It’s the perfect Spring transition piece. They have a new style out that is very cute, and Cortes of London also makes one that is very similar (comes in tons of colors).
