3 Things to give up/let go in your style journey: 1. Other people’s opinions. Seriously. If you are too afraid to wear something because you’re worried what someone else might think, you need to let go of it. Wear what YOU want and what makes YOU happy. Dress for YOU, not others. 2. Believing that investing in yourself makes you superficial. I’m here to tell you, get over it. If you want to feel good about yourself, invest in yourself. And I’m not saying you have to spend a ton of money. Carve out what you can and treat yourself. It’s worth every penny. My motto: Look good, feel good. Feel good, do good. I’m a much nicer/happier person when I feel good about myself. 3. Thinking you have to dress your age. I’m sorry, you do not have to wear mumu’s and cut your hair off because you’re now in your 50’s. I’m not saying you should dress like your teenage daughter, but if you want to rock a pair of cut off shorts….go for it!!
