I treat my clients’ money like I’d treat my own and sometimes buying the fanciest thing isn’t the best option. This wall was under utilized with just a painting floating on it and my client needed a place for books, objects and photos. So I took the colors from the painting and the feel of the painting and chose to use it as inspiration for the decor for shelving instead. Those large cabinets that you can buy from Crate and Barrel or Anthropologie are beautiful but sometimes the less expensive or more practical option is best until you can find that thing that you just can’t live without. I chose 3 ladder shelves from @wayfair … all under $100 a piece and put them together to look like one unit. The other areas of the room are minimal so I chose to go crazy with the decorative objects and they can swap them out for whatever they want as it grows with them. What do you think? Would you go for this less expensive shelving hack? I’ll be sharing the decor in my LTK shop later today. interiordesign decor shelves LTKhome LTKstyletip LTKFind
