It’s wrapping season!! We’ve got many favorites when it comes to wrapping but these two really up your organization game.

First, the @elfa_creatingspace wrapping door unit (in this case one dedicated to general wrap and the other dedicated to Christmas) makes it so easy to SEE your papers, tissues, bows and gift bags all in one place! And it take up virtually no space on the back of your door!

And then to keep those pesky papers from unraveling we’ve been using slap bracelets to keep them rolled! You’ve probably got a couple lying around from birthday party goodie bags, so why not put them to use!

A few weeks back, @indymaven, @colleenhungerford and I kicked off the holiday season with the most magical evening at @foundry317 with such a wonderful group of people.

Sharing our hacks for making this your most effortless holiday yet (if that’s what you’re going for), we shared laughs, tips and gained insight on how to slow down and soak up the season. ❤️

It’s seems like each year the hustle and bustle starts earlier and earlier, and my favorite tip to share is to give yourself permission to not do it all. Ask your loved ones what their favorite tradition is, and skip some of the extra fluff. A night or two at home, with glistening lights and great music in the background will do anyone good!

We loved sourcing the perfect garment rack for this beautiful collection of garments! Client’s request was BRASS, and our requirement was that it had to nestle perfectly inside these dormers and not block the natural light.

When done well, the right mix of products look easy. They maximize the available space without looking crowded, they match the aesthetic of the home (even if they are behind closed doors), they help create a system that makes it easy to maintain and they fit within any budget a client gives us. Finding this mix of product is one of our favorite parts of the process!

Today is the final day of @indybuilders Home•A•Rama, so we also thought it was the perfect opportunity to reveal the wide lens shots that @heysouthernskyphoto captured of the Primary Closet at the @wedgewoodbc! Designed by our favorite, @calclosets_erin!!

It was so much fun to collaborate with @the_styleriot to bring our service, The Luxe Edit, to life! From a perfectly curated wardrobe (mostly pulled from the amazing racks at @thetoggeryresale), to elevated organizing product, the entire space just oozes STYLE!

We’ve loved participating in the Home•A•Rama show and appreciate all of the feedback and excitement surrounding this space!

Can we talk about the @ggcustomhomes @indybuilders Home•A•Rama house?! The entire home is out of this world (especially the lighting and hardware), but I’m personally very excited about the Back Kitchen.

@hilarigoris designed the most magnificent backdrop for our organizational 🪄 magic! We loved showcasing our work inside the cabinets, but also on the floating shelves because….organizing can be beautiful too! We promise!

We installed this pantry nearly four years ago and a quick refresh this week turned it back into organized bliss!

We did a once over for expired items, pulled everything out to give the shelves a great wipe down, and then reorganized to accommodate for older kids who are now in charge of grabbing their own snacks.

No new product was needed, and yet, it feels like a completely refreshed space. Have one of these projects of your own?? We have a few September sessions available and would love to work with you!

My favorite @indymonthly issue of the year is hitting mailboxes and newsstands this week…Best Restaurants! But this one is even more special because they asked me to open the doors to my favorite space at home for their Open Door feature.

Which space to choose?? It was an easy choice - my home office is the headquarters for @thebaerminimalist and couldn’t be more “me.” It’s a space that I love spending time in as I work to grow our business and deliver impeccable service to the hundreds of clients who have trusted us to organize their homes over the years.

This week marks seven years since I hit “publish” on my website and started organizing homes. I’ve worked my way through a twin pregnancy, sleepless nights with said twins, a pandemic and lots of personal growth. I’ve grown a team of smart, thoughtful, passionate humans who show up to stand out.

I’m lucky! And moments like this always make me stop in my tracks and take a moment to recognize what we’ve built!

A little pantry inspo for your Saturday! Crisp, clean and contained - just the way we like our spaces! 🪄

In celebration of @thread_designgroup’s 1-year anniversary, can we just take a moment to ooh and ahh over this incredible kitchen renovation?!

With @hilarigoris driving the interior design and @thread_designgroup’s thoughtful and creative use of space, we felt very lucky to be called in to put everything into its new designated “home!”

Every drawer was lined with our protective, custom cut liners and literally every single thing has a place! Oh, what fun!!

Zoom in a bit and you’ll see some old school TBM labels! When I started this business sevenish years ago, I wrote all labels on little gift tags.

It is not lost on me that some of our clients have been around since day one. And as much as I get the urge to pull out my trusty @ptouchessentials label maker, these handwritten labels are staying put!

Because even many years removed from this project, I found during our most recent refresh that the system we originally implemented is still working! 🥰

Honestly, I have no words for how this space came together after a marathon editing session with our client! This is why we always edit first before planning product.

Essentials were left in the space, other items found new landing or storage spots within the home, and many items went on to benefit others in the community.

All I can say is WOW! 🤩

This laundry + mudroom combo is raring to go for summer! Turntables create easy access to all the essentials and everything else remains contained (boundaries are a great thing).

The real MVP of the space is this featured drawer where stackable bins provide layers of household quick grab items in a single drawer!

Ahhhh…that moment when everything has a place feels so good!

These cabinets were in pretty good shape to begin with, but by adding a very luxe set of acrylic shelves (which fit like an absolute glove, I must say), we were able to banish stacking glassware.

By rearranging the contents of each cabinet and doing a light edit of mismatched glassware, order was restored in these cabinets a big way. Best part is, it only took about 15 minutes!

Cheers to the long holiday weekend, friends!

Swipe to peep how this garage greeted us yesterday morning (and then swipe back for how we left it today). Minimal product was needed after a serious editing session with piles for donation, trash and listing on the local Buy Nothing Group.

We popped in and out to work on this project, because the heat was stifling, so also had the chance to work on several inside projects!

And just like that, order is restored for the holiday weekend! 🇺🇸

It’s a closet refresh kind of day! What an absolute joy to be back in our clients home a year after they moved to tackle some additional spaces.

We were able to work through five closets and a craft room - organizing, planning and implementing product in just three sessions (all within the span of a week)! There is nothing like knocking a few projects off the ole’ organizing list quickly…am I right?

Many months in the making, the @showhouseindy opened its doors for the Evening with Designers last night. One of the most special events of the showhouse season, design lovers are invited to come and tour the house while each designer acts as the docent of their own space.

It was so neat to hear feedback about the renovation and design work completed over the last several months (and to share the completed space with so many of the talented individuals who made our spaces come to life - @calclosets_erin, @heysouthernskyphoto, @parksidelinen and @matouklinens)!

And while I didn’t make it out of the upstairs wing, seeing each designer proudly standing in their space was the icing on top! We did it!!

It’s officially garage season, so here’s a little post to inspire you!

Sometimes we keep it simple by throwing down painters tape to create parking spaces for kids, other times we design @elfa_creatingspace storage systems to give everything a place (off the floor when possible). No matter what we do, we do it with a big ole’ smile!

Our final space in the @showhouseindy is this guest bedroom closet nestled inside @compass_design’s stunning space. Another example of @calclosets_erin elevating a nook with a custom @calclosets_midwest.

Once the closet was installed, we brightened up the space with @sherwinwilliams paint and all the guest essentials.

When thinking of ways to delight and surprise guests, we incorporated monogrammed robes from @lalalinencollection, pickleball paddles, fluffy towels, WIFI signage designed by @paintedletterco and specialty hangers for the most adorable overnight bags from @parksidelinen.

Photography from @heysouthernskyphoto is featured with a handful of famed Indianapolis must-dos, along with a travel journal to record moments from one’s travels.

A few important things we like to think about when organizing a pantry:
✔️ Should kids snacks be easily accessible or tucked higher up (this totally depends on your parenting style)?
✔️ What categories make sense for your family? We like to group things like a grocery store, but the labels need to make sense for the way you cook + snack!
✔️ Product is incorporated to make your life easier, not harder. An example being whether or not we decant items in your space - do you have the time to keep the system up when you return from the grocery, if not, oversize baskets might make more sense.

We love learning about the way YOU function in your space and tailoring systems to your family’s unique needs! At the end of the day, you are the ones living here and our goal is to enhance that, not implement systems that are tough to keep up with! ❤️
