Meta is rolling out a new feature that will only allow us all to get DMs from those we follow. ✨ I used a bank of drawers, a butcher block top, and a steel leg—all from Amazon. To ensure the leg matched the height of the drawers, I added four square blocks to the bottom of the drawer bank (linked in my listing). Here’s how I built it: 1️⃣ Screwed the steel leg into the butcher block. 2️⃣ Attached the drawer bank to the butcher block by screwing it in from the top. 3️⃣ Sealed the butcher block with water-based polyurethane to protect against discoloration. 4️⃣ Lightly sanded the block for a smooth finish and applied a second coat of polyurethane followed by one more light sanding. Optional- I added black decorative handles to the desk drawers to give it an elevated look. That’s it! Now my daughter has a functional and stylish vanity and desk in one, in less than an hour.
