While I haven’t decluttered as much as I had hoped by this point in the year, it’s been such an amazing process. It came time to conquer my swimwear when prepping for summer vacation - and boy, did I have to get honest with myself. Once I implemented the following things, shopping, packing and styling became a breeze! Hope these tips help you too!!
👙Toss any swimsuits that are unflattering, uncomfortable, don’t fit, ones you’re holding on to when you lose weight and/or are no longer your style {p.s. it took me a long time to get comfortable with letting go of the ones I just didn’t like anymore because I hold on and care for my clothes for decades // think of it like this, the money is already spent…the only thing it’s doing is taking up space for items that can serve you now}
👙ditch most beach/pool sandals and cover-ups that aren’t white or black - this lets your swim wardrobe at as more of a capsule collection, with the bathing suit taking center stage
👙invest in a few cute hats or visors to keep your face protected from sun exposure - again, neutral colors are best here but I love this light pink option
👙set aside fashion jewelry you can rock at the pool or beach, so your fine items stay safe and protected - highly recommend Melinda Maria pieces! Quality is unmatched for the price. Code LaurenR takes 10% off your order, with free shipping and returns
