I love sandwiches and wish I could have had one, but instead I’m smack dab in the sandwich generation caring for my family, working, and caring for my dad. As I realize now, not everything has to be done. My plans have changed for the day. I was supposed to have a nice lunch out, finish my Christmas decorating, make a few videos for you all, and go on a date night with my hubs. As a cancer survivor, I know that not all that stuff really matters, it’s caring for others and caring for yourself. Part of that caring for myself is realizing that my house doesn’t have to look like Reese Witherspoons, my style doesn’t have to be perfect like so many other influencers and my videos dont have to look perfectly staged, because you all love us the way we are. And for that I’m so grateful to have you following along. It means the world to be accepted as middle sized and middle aged women in a business that glorifies and respects that which is unreal and unattainable.
