Here are my 3️⃣ tried-and-true ways to bring your outdoor space to life this hosting season:

With a few small updates and additions, you can create an inviting outdoor space to enjoy while hosting this season.

1. Create a seating arrangement that allows guest to gather and socialize and incorporate throw pillows and cozy blankets for cooler evenings for a cozy feel.

2. Update your lighting. String lighting and outdoor lamps will allow you transition from afternoon to evening without having to leave the space.

3. Layer plants into your arrangement. Plants are a great way to add color and texture and mixing in planters that work with your aesthetic will act as outdoor accessories.

Whether you need a space to pay bills, catch or work from home, your home office should not only be a reflection of your style, but feel cohesive with the rest of your home. Of course you need the basics like a great desk or table and plenty of functional storage, but why not go all out with design detail that make it a place you enjoy spending time in?

A bold home = an inviting space that makes an impression.

DESIGN TIP
The lliving room is the heart of this home and needed to feel grounded since it is part of an open floor plan. The larger pieces of furniture ground the space while smaller pieces were used to add texture, pattern and pops of color.

We wanted the furniture arrangement to feel cozy for hanging out, but knew we wanted to add our client's love for glam accents. Layering elements like Monngolian Fur pillows, a soft throw blanket and plenty of colorful accessoires were key to creating a welcoming space while still making a bold statement.

Creating a focal point in a room will anchor your eye and create balance through contrast. A room's focal point is the "thing" your eye is drawn to when walk into the space so why not take that blank space from blah to beautifull.
-Be dramatic with a bold and colorfull wallpaper on an accent wall or ceiling.
Add eye catching art that not only serves as the room's focal point, but can grab your attention from connecting rooms.
-Make a statement with a bold paint color on your built-ins or kitchen cabinets. Extra points for incorporating a high gloss finish!

- Reupholster your dining chairs with a chic pattern or rich textural solid to ground the table and set the tone for the room's color palette.

- Update your lighting. Buffet lamps, sconces or a bold chandelier will instantly update a space whether you go classic or add a colorful fixture for wow factor.
